Hi all, had a great day today on track at Cadwell. Weather was kind and we only had a little light drizzle at some point. Things were going well untile the six session when I tried going up the gearbox as I started leaning into Barn corner and put it into neutral! As there was no strain on the engine It was like freewheeling it around the corner and I tried to lean it further over to get it around but rasn out of track and ended up on the grass. Had a little low side spill :no but the good news is, I'm okay and there is hardly a scratch on the T.

Here's some pics of the day:

The exhaust protectors certainly saved the Akras, protectors are scuffed and no marks on the pipes. A cheap and effective way of protecting them. The R&G frame protectors did their job as well. Only damage being a bent break lever and some minor scratches on the belly pan. I have the R&G bar end protectors on and there isn't a mark on them. Apart from the spill it was a great day. I rode my bike to the track, took the mirrors and number plate off, taped up the lights, rode around the track and was averaging around 1.52 sec laps before putting everything back on and riding home again. I even managed to embarass a few sports bike riders in the process.

jist noticed ah called ye Robbo..sorry Ton min..ah really must read things properly

Dude they have been around for years, used by supermoto lads, just a big jubilee clip, some hose and a knife is all thats required :thumbup

Saved my cans before, that I can vouch for!

Nice pics Tony. Brum Brum.

*******... Now I want to get Andiamo back out tae the track again!! Looks like fun mate... and trust me boys! If I can get me knee down, ANYONE can do it. Just keep going around a little faster and it happens alllll by itself. Trust me.

Looks like you had a great day, glad your little mx venture turned out ok in the end, cracking pics.

PS, Dan, glad you finally changed that avatar pic at last from the toom!

What type of hose are you using for this?

Nice pics Tuonotone. Good to hear the bike and you are OK. There's the age old argument that R&G's will 'dig in' and cause the bike to flip - glad that didn't happen!
Just booked a 'road bike only' trackday at Brands on the 16th June - can't wait now.

If we all had 40" inside legs I dare say "ANYONE can do it" ... ya fecking big loon.

Make sure the bottom one does not have the rubber all the way round or it will most likely rub/foul the swingarm needs to look like this:
