was very wet when i popped down.....hope that last session went smooth.....seemed like all four of you that went out at the same time followed each other, maybe would have been better to drop off the back as you looked a lot quicker.thought you were going to run into the guy in front after the left hander at the cafe.
heard you spin up a few times too.....nice to meet you anyway...thanks for the swap!!

Good to meet you too sir and thanks for popping down :thumbup Managed to sneak the panels past the wife? Sorry we didn't get to chat for longer.

The last session went ok for me, sometimes you just have to resign yourself to the fact that there isn't the grip in the tyres in the conditions, doesn't stop trying to find some though, and spinning up always keeps me laughing away to myself :biggrin

The guy in front on the naked SV was driving me nuts through the cafe section, he'd get all the drive from not having as much power and go scooting off over the mountain whilst I was spinning away and then when I did get traction it was a case of run into the corners and find him travelling at the apex probably 5mph slower hence understanding it looking like I was going to run into the back of him. The straights turned into a joke where he'd make it through 4 gears with it pinned and i'd be sat trying to make it through 3rd and 4th without spinning it up :burnout

Unfortunately for him it didn't all end well. Coming up over the rise on Park Straight doing around 100mph and about 20 yards in front of me, his bike suddenly did a sharp left on the approach to Park corner and off he and the SV went cartwheeling through the grass. Was a touch of :eek2 Took a look back across and saw hit sat up and then spent the rest of the lap waiting for the red flags to come out. Was fully surprised to find myself back round on the approach to Park seeing him stood trying to attract attention and still no flags! I pulled off to go and report it but the dozy marshall had obviously finally noticed the poor man and the red flags were out as I came into the pit area. Went and had a chat to him after they recovered the bike and him back. Turns out it was his Dads bike and he was back on r&r from a tour. Was a bit shaken up but was ok, mad as hell about the marshall, and the bike.....well, lets say there was a small garden once they'd finished pulling all the grass and mud off of it. He was lucky, not a clue what had happened so went down relaxed and not tensed.

All in all, was a great day even if it was cold and wet. I know a certain man on here enjoyed it, even his red mist grass tracking moment :whoop

You aching today Mr Fish? :devious

Roll on next time.

shame for the guy on the sv....sometimes the marshalls on track days when its late and raining aren't always on the ball.
at least you and your mate(and bikes) stayed in one piece:thumbup

:dowhat Now i don't like to call it grass tracking, if you were observant you would have seen that little bird looking distressed by the wall so i thought i would go and make sure it was okay:eatcorn it was:thumbup so i rejoined the track and cracked on and i mean who the hell did he think he was over taking me with his full wets on:thumbup when i am on Corsa 3's in the rain:jack got to admit it made me giggle inside the helmet and OMG how long does it take to get up the mountain with the rear wheel constantly spinning:dunno Great day though James and yes next time a set of wets or a dry day for me i think:devious Brands This weekend:eatcorn:eatcorn MAYBE:nana
