Started 9:30 this morning, forks changed with no probs.

Spedo sender changed and now I can see how fast I will be going!!

Got the dremmel out and cleaned up a load of bolt heads on brake disks, pinch bolts ect.

Then decided to go one better and re-furbished my brake & clutch levers as the previous owner had let them deteriorate. Cleaned them up and coated them satin black, did bar ends and clip ons while I was at it.

The seat lock did not operate with the key for some reason so I stripped it down and adjusted the tumberlers, hey presto it now works!

Really feel like the bike is becoming mine now. :thumbup

Just need to get it out on the road now lol!!

Can you get me a price for new grips please Tash? Ill live with the other bits for now until I save up more cash.

Nice one mate glad it's starting to come together, I am away until tomorrow so will send you a price then.

No rush mate, just didnt want you to waste your time pricing the other gear yet.

Can you advise on what the tyre pressures should be? I've googled it and I am getting all kinds of answers.

You can run the pressures that are recomended on the sidewalls of your tyres if you want to. I personally run 35psi in front and rear and I ride on the road everyday. For track or occasional riding, you may want to run different pressure. And when I start running continentals I will be running higher pressure..... lol. tt

yeah those bolts really suffer dont they

mine have taken a pasting as the bike lives outside , going to do the same as you and then give them a coat of satin or matt black

I recommend Plasticote paint, its a good hard wearing paint and has a nice high build property so it covers small imperfections without too much hassle.

Took it for its test yesterday and it failed!! only on the missing reflector I took off as it was cracked and the break light was coonstantly on as I has knocked the switch in the front lever. A quick ten min job and the faults are fixed so its back on Sunday morning to get the ticket. :thumbup
