Hi, I am a new Aprilia RSVR owner, it's a 2004 gen2, around 10,000 miles and I checked the brown connectors, one of which was melted, so today I changed both of them. It's seems odd that there are still RSVR's with the brown connectors running around. Battery volts went up, so it looks like I got it in time. Hope this will be the only problem.
