Brown connector done

Well burnt my finger but brown connector gone so hopefully no more low battery and extra earth lead. Also put on a 150amp starter solenoid only have so show my finger to the starter button and hay presto she start like a good un.

I've done the same mod last weekend how many volts you getting now mine shows about 14.1 on the dash but is more like 14.4ish when checked with a volt meter

About 13.8 on the dash and 14.4 on the metre better that it was, 13.5 on the dash and about 14 on the metre

Hi Geoff. Is it worth doing even though my brown connector doesnt get hot during running. I thought the sign of resistance was heat and burnt fingers

The brown connector on my RSV doesnt get hot during running so I left it alone. The extra earth and solenoid are worth doing.

Hi RSV69 & Dr_D, If it's charging ok I'm a firm believer in ' IF IT ISN'T BROKE DON'T FIX IT' But i would do the extra earth and 150 amp starter solenoid.
