As tile says , me been in a hurry as normal changing out my SBK Akropovic eprom I managed to break 2 pins off the mother board , thought well thats
F--ked & as they only come with the muffler there was no chance of buying another on its own so it was put into a box & forgotten about for over a year till I got told about a young guy that modifyed X-Box games & was pretty clever with fixing stuff so thought why not got nothing to lose , so took it round to him to have a look at & he said yea should be able to sort that out for ya , 8 months later I get a call from him saying did I still want the Eprom as I never came back to get it , **** had forgotten all about it to be fair , so yea I said how much $30 sweet . Went & picked it up yesterday & put it carefully into my spare computer & fired up the bike to see if it would still work & it did !! . So took my spare Akropovic slip on over to mates that has just brought a 03 Tuono & said have this to try out seen he still had a standard muffler on his bike , so off with the stock pipe on with the Akro & plugged my spare ECU with SBK Akro chip in it into this bike & off he went for a blast , came back like a dog with 2 tail's . So all is good & nice to know that you can fix the pins on these eprom . :doug:doug:doug
