Hey all,

So having a tuono 2016 factory, it pisses the hell out of me that it's not equipped with M50, not that the current brakes are not good enough, but the beefy look of the M50s and the additional "smoothness" are a must! So what do you exactly need to change aside from the front calipers themselves to be able to upgrade to the M50s? And what's the retail price on such calipers.cheers

Hi, you can buy them on eBay-the Italians have the best prices. Around £450.
Make sure you buy them with pads, as they are different to the standard Tuono.
Simple to fit, but I had to bend the banjos a little to give the hoses some more slack, as the banjo bolts mount at different angles to the standard calipers.
I mounted them with an ISR master cylinder-from memory I think the calipers need a 17mm master cylinder, as the pistons are smaller in M50 calipers. Not sure what the standard masters piston size is, or if the hose is long enough to use the standard hose, but I would have thought it will be.
Yes, they should have done this as standard!

Thanks guys! Salami based on your personal experience how do the M50s compare to the existing M430? (Currently fitted on 2016 tuono?)

Hi Mx9, I think they offer more feel, but you need to use the correct sized master cylinder, or you might make your braking feel worse.
They look a lot nicer too!
