I've been getting well into my winter service, stripping the Brembo's found a lump of corrosion on the side of a piston, in the layer of Teflon. Looks to be bang on the position of the oil seal.. so thats that.. new pistons needed.
This is a well looked after 08 RSV Factory, with fairly clean seal landings etc, and has happened behind the dust seals.. might be worth a check if you have the calipers off any time.
anyway, we cant get parts via Aprilia for Brembo, BUT KTM use same Brembo's (this is fairly well known) and do sell the parts... but now I've found a good priced online shop, click... get... UK company.
