Brembo brake calipers on Gen 1

Chaps,

Why were the the front calipers on my first Tuono (Gen 1 black framed 2004? model registered Jan 2007) painted red and the cones on my current 2006 registered Gen 1 Black framed model are gold??

Why??

ran out of red paint?

seriously, afaik, all calipers are gold. maybe someone got bored, and decided to tart them up?

All 2004 Gen1 Tuono's had gold coloured calipers.
For 2005,only the red Gen1 T's had the red painted calipers.

Black and Silver bikes had gold.
As for why,.........fook knows!

Mine has gold ones with writing on them that says brembo and are radial to oh and ohlins forks and shock
