Happy to have finally joined and make this my first post.
I have a 1998 Mille which is giving me a headache. I recently had to replace the original brake calipers because they were goosed. So i finally managed to track some down on fleabay and they arrived in good time. They were a different colour, but as long as they stop me i dont care. So i am mounting them up, they go on the fork leg nicely, the brake disk is smoothly running through and looks good. I go to connect the brake hoses and.....oh....these dont look right. The end of the hoses have a 90 degree banjo which wont fit on the new calipers. I have now misplaced the original calipers (yes i know, how can you lose them) so all i can tell you is they were red and the original ones on the bike and i am guessing the brake hose mounts on top of the caliper. The new ones (which are the gold Brembo) mount the hoses on the sides. When i bought the new brakes they were sold to me as from a 1998, and i also bought new hoses. This may not be the case
My question is, wot year do you think the replacement gold Brembo calipers are from. I need to order new hoses with a straight banjo on the end. If anyone can answer this i would be extremely grateful
