Rico. I don't really know but I'd be shocked if there was any movement axially. In saying that when I park up me bike I back it down me drive and when you pull the front brake on there's a bit of a clunk from the discs as if there moving.

My Suzuki used to clunk all the time and I hated it. Thought the head bearings had gone on it. Very off putting indeed. No such clunking on my Racing though and that has floating discs. Feels solid as a rock. Mind you the back one feels like 2marshmallows trying to stop it.

Ah checked mine again this morn, an theres def some float backwards and forwards other than the usual side play, mibbe 1mm. ie the disc can slightly rotate aroond the carrier in line wi the wheel. Compared tae mates Speed Trouble ( Brembo as weel) his discs ur much tighter all roond and nae say rattley, prob cos he drives like a fanny and disnae need tae break as hard mibbe.
Ah wiz jist wondering in general if there wiz a max wear allowance on these. ie if the bobbins could be wearin. Probably always been like that jist nivir noticed until now.
