brake bleeder

Looks good to me mate, it holds a 25 inch vacuum which is good. If you were to use an electric vacuum pump the best you could get is a 30inch vaccum. This is considered to be a perfect vacuum. (although its not quite) At this extremely low pressure you will pull all the fluid through and also evaporate any moisture in the system.:thumbup

trust me, in a former life I was a refrigeration engineer and I used vacuum pumps on a daily basis. You can't get better than a 30inch vacuum. 25 inch is pretty good. (if you dont know then a 1 inch vacuum is like -1psi, so a 25inch vacuum is minus 25psi)

i've bought one of those braker bleeders
now as an experienced user can you advise me on the best method
is it to draw the fluid through from the caliper or pump it in from the caliper and empty the resevoir
also whats best with clutch

thanks in advance

From what I've read mate the best idea seems to be to push the fluid UP the system via the caliper bleed nipple. Once the system is full, hopefully with little or no air in it I assume you would then suck it back via the bleed nipple.
