Picked up a 2007 Tuono last month. Its the half year re-release for those interested. Got it for a steal from a local motorcycle sale and salvage place in Dayton.

Spent my first 5 seasons riding a 2005 Kawasaki ZX6R 636C1. Spent lots of time and money modding that thing... I think I'm going to keep the Tuono as factory as possible. It has some road rash from the previous owner that I'll enjoy fixing up, but ~$250 is all it'll really take. The owner drop it on the left side, you can see the scratches below. The owner replaced the front fairing with a really nice carbon fiber fairing. Other than the headlight fairing and bar end mirrors, I think and hope everything else is stock. Going to do my best to keep it that way. Bike didn't come with the factory mirrors, so i had to throw on some bar ends i had laying around. Anyway... glad to be here and hope to learn as much as I do on other forums.

the rash that'll get fixed eventually:

Have a used upper u-bolt and data plate on its way as I type this.

looks OK , get her fixed up and enjoy.
I would get a mechanic to give it a look over , all is squared up OK .
Mine was/is a Cat.C write off and after fixing her up and checked out she is OK

How do you damage the top yoke , top of fork leg and handlebar clamp ?

Did his misses have a go at it with an axe

Welcome to the forum. I had a 636 before my T, which was the same colour as yours.
Cracking bike - enjoy

Don't let the damage fool you. It is purely cosmetic. Mechanic checked everything out during the full maintenance tuneup. I've been riding it for a month, and everything is ace.

As far as how that dude was able to damage the top clamp...? Not a friggin' clue!

I'll be repairing the scuffed parts, over time. But it's not really a huge priority to me.
