Cold is relative. When I wake up and the wind is blowing the -30 or -40 air around at high velocity... I get REALLY irritable. Floating around the freezing mark disnae bother me. As long as the roads are ice free.

See, look at the bright side. **** start to the day, good end. Been fettling me self. Turned out the old Quills wouldn't go on the new link pipes so because I don't want the T farting and coughing at Oulton on Tuesday I popped a 1 1/4 hole through the cats on the standard cans. Cheap and cheerfull and no grief at the Db test. :thumbup. Might not be ideal but hey ho.

Fair play Weeksy!

I am going to try to use the bike all year, although I too get to the point where the car is a much nicer proposition when it’s dark and cold. But I just can’t handle the numpties in cages around our area in the journey into work!

Still it’s been really nice weather lately so long may it last.

:cheers

I'm lucky that my commute is rural B roads, traffic doesn't even come into play. Although if i get up at exactly the same time and ride/car into work, by the time i log on it's 7.14 on the bike and 7.17am in the car. So the bike saves me 3 mins.

However 3 mins when it's cold means bugger all :)
