The FActory is booked in tomorrow for it's second service, new chain and sprocket set (15F, 42R), PC III fitment and set up. Can't wait to get all that done. I have heard nothing but good things about them so I trust they will look after my baby!!!

yep, wish they were up north, very highly recommended by most southerners on here mate,we got naff all in the midlands.lucky buggers.

I've taken mi mille for the last two services and a repair. They're very knowledgeable and my bikes runs like a dream. The last time wasn't so good as they forgot to do the tank screws and sold me some fuses with the wrong amperage 20A, unless these can be used instead of the 15A they cannot be used in the mille. Anyone makes mistakes I suppose. Ah, and they advised me not to take any oil or chain lube for a 2000kms tour which I found odd and thank God I took it all as I had to use it.

Mate i am sure they will do a great job, i got an engine change with clutch and altinator new chain and a full service all within 3 days of the engine getting delivered. Don even polished the bike when i got there. They are top guys:thumbup

Well, I must admit that Don and his guys did a fantastic job, they serviced the bike, fitted the new chain set and PC III. I arrived back at the time they advised to find they were still working on it. There had been a problem on the last dyno run, one of the PC contacts became loose and one cylinder went down. After sorting that out they put it back on the dyno. Below is the print out, 128 bhp and a lovely flat torque curve.

They also noted how badly set up the suspension was, they spent a good bit of time setting it up for my weight. I took away a bike that was totally different to the one I arrived with, what a different in power delivery and handling.

While I was waiting for them to clean it Don said I should take out their new Dorsoduro, so that was a nice treat too.

To top it all the final bill was more than £100 less than I was expecting. Southern Cross are highly recommended!!!
