Bodywork questions

I dont know why but I was wondering and thought I would post what was going through my mind.:devious

What parts are you able to change from the new to old mille, are the frames the same, can the new bodywork fit on the older bike including the seat etc? :confused

Im sure im not the only one that have thought about this.:exclamation

Hi,

Depends what you mean from new to old? If you mean from the Post 2004 to Pre 2004 (ie New/Current Shape to Old original shape) then I don't think the frames are the same, the swing arm is certainly different.

However I am sure that the bodywork could be made to fit with a few purpose made mounting brackets and a bit of ingenuity. Would probably be quicker, easier and cheaper to just buy a new shape RSVR....

Nearly all of the bits from a Pre 2001 will fit on a Post 2001 -2003 mille and vice versa..

nice one apriliastars .i was wondering if a 04 backend woud fit an 03 bike :confused. love the 04 rear:thumbup
