Hi.

I am selling my spare front wheel from my RSVR as its just taking up room in my garage!

I bought this as part of a set of wheels as I needed a new rear wheel, but it is surplus to requirements so going up for sale! I have never fitted it to my bike, but it is in used condition and has some scrapes round the edges where the tyres have been fitted in the past I presume. Overall it is in good condition, straight, and when fitted Im sure it will look great!

Not entirely sure how much these are worth, if I remember rightly I paid under £500 for the pair, so make me an offer if you're interested. Also not sure how much postage will be, but I shouldnt imagine it'd be all that much as its really light for a wheel! :eatcorn I'll take it to the post office and get a price if anyone is interested, but if not its going on Fleabay!

I'm going to be breaking my whole bike it seems so when I do I will have another front and rear wheel to sell (both in better condition). I will list in this forum first before Ebay, but I am still rather nervous about breaking it! :puke That being the case though, would anyone have any interest in some other parts from my bike? I already have someone who may want the Ohlins forks and Carbon huggers. :thumbup

Cheers

Steve.

A couple of pictures of the wheel, and I can take more if needed....

Damage is only on the right of the bike, and is mainly the right hand main side panels and a scrape on the tank. I replaced the front fairing, rear fairing, but havent found a yellow panel on Ebay yet for the side. Too late now anyway! :pirate

cheers.

Steve.

That is exactly what I need

I just need a few day to find someone who can borrow me money :D.

Are you in a hurry?

Nah not too much of a hurry mate. I can keep it for you no probs, but when were you thinking, and do you have a price in mind? Again, I can certainly take more pictures if you wanted so you can see the condition. You can see on the 3rd picture that there are scratches around the rims, but I think it looks worse in the photo than in reality! But of course, I would say that I guess! :devious

If it was going to be a while then like I said I will be putting up another set in the not too distant future when I take the plunge and dismantle my bike if thats better for you?

Cheers.

Steve

It was a reasonable one yeah, about 70-ish I would say. I was being a tosser really if Im honest, twas my own fault, but I have learned my lesson! Bike didn't hit anything (it was on a sliproad in Nottingham somewhere when the Bikefest do was on last year), but I think the rear wheel must have hit a lampost as it was dented when I went to get back on! :dunno Other than that just fairings really, and the swingarm got a dink from the exhaust clip. Also it slid into pebbles on the side of the sliproad so the right hand side of the frame gained a few little scuffs from the pebbles! :rant As for the crash bungs, yeah I think they helped & they stayed on too, but I took em off because they were mashed & bent. The holes and threads where they go into the frame & engine mount are fine though, so can't fault them, I just never got round to replacing the crash bungs.

Boyler, got your PM, cheers mate. :thumbup

The other set of wheels are now reserved.

Indeed!

Well, I have the left hand side ones if you want? :biggrin

Also, a couple more pictures of my bike, after the accident. As you can see the left hand side is in good nick still. Apologies that it is totally scruffy by the way, I have been using it for work!
