Bleeding pain in the ***

Ok so my back brake was a little vague so i read all the posts on the best way to revolve this issue with regards to bleeding, so for the last 2 hours:jack i have attempted every procedure and now i have NO :eek: back brake what so ever the pedal goes to its stop on the cylinder, and nothing i do will make it any better, er any ideas.................. please...............:thumbup
 
Im going to Southern Cross next sat mate for an MOT and the brake mod they do, if ya wanna meet up mate ill let em know its 2 for the mod :thumbup:thumbup

Ok mate cheers if i cant get it sorted tomo i will tag along i'll let you know tomo, suppose to be fixing my sisters car next weekend but if the weather is to bad to get to brands i will do it tomo then come with you next weekend:thumbup(if that makes sense)
 
Done the mod including boring out the reservoir another mm and bled as per aprilia servicing manual, and hey presto my back brake is sh$$ hot :thumbup :nana

Well mine wont even bleed, was speaking to a guy who's had a couple rsv's and he said take the caliper off wedge something inbetween the pads hold it upside down (as the nipple is on the bottom of the caliper:confused) and as high as poss as they are prone to locking air in, sounds like in theory it should work so gonna go try it in a bit:thumbup

You're supposed to tilt it one way then the other way, worked on mine and its been fine for 5000 miles

The southern cross mod can be easily done yourself if its just drilling out the fixxing holes and tilting the master cylinder forward a bit

Was thinking of taking a trip down there one day, so i might join you or see you there mate

Yer come for a ride down with me BB, i could do it myself but im a lazy git and while they change my oil and filter they might aswell do the brake aswell, then MOT it :thumbup:thumbup
