Ello all

I was bleeding the clutch tonight (gen2 T) and got a bit distracted and pumped all the fluid out of the whole system (drained at the banjo before the slave, then also drained the slave)

Should,nt be a big issue but now I can't get the master cylinder to pump fluid at all. I'm sure I'm missing something really simple but me noggin's not playing ball tonight. What bleedin obvious point am I missing?

The clutch can be a bit of a bugger to bleed.Ive got a little bleeding tool that uses a non return valve, never let me down before, but the fecker would'nt work on the T's clutch.Could'nt use my dads bleeding gun as he was out,so went old school with a jam jar and a piece of tube.Took a bit of pumping to get the fluid flowing out of the master cyl reservoir, but once it got going, the bleeding took seconds.Yer have to watch the fluid levels as the ressy can empty quickly and you have to start again.

Oh,forgot to mention,If the slave is new/empty,I always fill it with fluid up to the threads before bleeding.

farkin ell, that was quick job, only 5 hours!

I reckon I tried just about everything (including KZmille's method). I could not feed the fluid in reverse as many suggest

after a lot of ****** swaering, I found the only way was to remove the feed reservoir and very slowly inject with a small amount of fluid directly into the tube above the MC while bleeding at the nipple below. Then I had to remove the slave and push the clylinder to remove the air at the nipple. Then repeat. A few times.....

Sounds easy (it's not) but most of the time was spent figuring this out

Its a right **** mate. Similra thing happened to me last year. Bought a pressure feeder from Halfords. Fluid went every ******* where, but did it.

If it happens to you again, just crack the banjo bolt on the master cylinder and gently pump a little fluid out of the joint - it usually sorts it.

Did that but with no joy mate. so I decided to do a full bleed then accidentally emptied the whole ****** system!

I was pissed off at the time but got there eventually
