hi all
my apologies ibet this has been done to death but here goes ,
i tried to do the impossible and improve my back brake it used to work sort of now its effin useless i used a syringe to bleed it i dont think there is air in it but now there is absolutly nothing there ,Ive tried injecting fluid into the master cylinder lifting the caliper up higher and still nothing there HELP wish id left the effin thing alone now im not happy

thanks bones

attach a heavy weight to the brake lever over night.

bike battery, 5 litre tin of paint, better if you can do it with the bike on the side stand.

I too have had the same problem, bled it, new fluid etc but still crap.

That same afternoon I hung a 5 litre tin of paint from the foot petal using the plastic handle, to my surprise in the morning i had a half decent rear brake :dowhat
It doesnt last that long and you will need to repeat the process but if you know your going out for a blast just hang the paint can on the night before.

It really does work!

The other thing you might want to think about getting is a heat shield to protect the cylinder, see diagram below its part number 31 although bear in mind this shield may not fit your year of mille.

Its the way to do it, the weight forces the air to the highest point in the pressurised system, release the weight and the air pops back into the reservoir :D

Thats the theory....

thanks sabre that link was very usefull i now have a back brake sort of
