I much prefer the black with silver frame mate...

sorry :)

So do I. But I am fecked if I am buying exactly the same bike as my wife, it's bad enough she rides a Tuono at times.

I did give serious thought to buying an R model, sorting the suspension, wheels, getting a few tasty bits for it, but at the end of the day it is cheaper to buy the Factory.

The Black dream colour scheme is much better in the metal than in a photo, and I suspect that next winter my frame and swinging arm might turn black, wheels, perhaps the red, or again (more practically) black.

In terms of riding - there isn't actually much in it. The R is slower steering, but that might just be tyres :dunno

One thing I will say about Liz's bike is that it has a really strong engine, my Tuoldo was the same power etc on paper but hers really does pull well for a completely stock motor.

Great looking bikes there, V60Paul. :thumbup
Did you need to cut away a small part from the side 'fairing' for the R&G's?

Yes mate, easy job. Dealer fitted them on the Factory, sort of a freebie for the **** ups they caused in delivery. (fitting that is) I fitted them onto Liz's R, just offer them up, shave a bit off, etc.

Lookin good. See, once ya core ya just can't stop.:no:lol

had to nibble these bits off for my R&G's

Very very minor nibbling it was to.

Great looking bikes ..but wouldn't the black screen look better on the black bike and vice versa?

The clear screen just doesn't look quite right when you see a black screen on the bike next to it.

Is the black bike just the std satin finish but coated with lacquer? Does look very good indeed.

Maybe :dunno

It's my wife's bike - she likes it that way :yes

yup. An old mate paints cars for a living, gave it a coat of lacquer. :thumbup

Both look good to me :thumbup

Maybe the black one could do with a gold frame... :crazy

No mirrors on either though??

No mirrors on either though??

Mirrors are on a shelf in the garage, both bikes have been on my bike lift over the winter - the mirrors hit the roof before it gets up to height so I took them off.

It was sunny this morning so I thought I would wheel them out & take a snap or two. Way too ferkin cold to ride anywhere though.

Couple of minor jobs to sort them ready for spring - tax etc.
