Gents, need some advice and views.
Has anyone replaced the front Sachs guts of the v4 Tuono's with the pressurized cartridge set from Bitubo?
Is this a mod worth doing?
Appreciate insights and best practices!

Occasional track day, but mainly back roads and not super aggressive.
My dealer just told me that for a 2011 T, the Bitubo cartridge is not available. And going full Ohlins seems a bit over the top for my purpose.
I'm wondering if between the cartridge and some lighter wheels, the latter don't make more sense...

I have these on mine and its a good bit of kit:

AF1 Racing : Aprilia Parts and Accessories: Andreani Group Italy Fork Piston Kit For Sachs - ohlins do a version too but adriani are in the factory next door!

But if I was only doing one suspension mod it would be rear shock not the front.

I don't think you would get the most out of the bitutubo, recommend an ohlins rear shock too will be much more compliant and adjustable.

I have factory wheels noticible but not necassary wide bars help turning in as it is, but adding a lightweight battery shaves 2kg and much cheaper.

Thank you very much! That's very useful and I didn't know one could just swap the pistons. Will try to get one of these kits as a starter.
Agree on the battery, will need to check what type I can get in Hong Kong.
As for the wheels: will do this at the next tyre change. Will check on the forum what others have done in that field.
Thanks again and and merry Xmas ahead!

Very nice indeed! Am trying to sneak the andreani set under that tree, and since my birthday is around the corner, am tempting my luck with a set of dymag's...
