Hi Lads today is the day i need to buy some tires, just checked me rear tyre and out of nowhere its breaking away in the middle

OK my chosen tyre is a Pirelli Super Corsa Pro but theres all different types/compounds of this tyre which one do i need for the road?

Cheers Homeboys:thumbup

Come on you fookers where are you all ?? You cant all be out on ya bikes in the nice weather :biggrin

Just got a few prices for some tyres and i wouldnt what sort of prices you all paid

Sizes Front 120.70.17 Rear 180.55.17

Fitted

Pair of Super Corsa III £235.00

pair of Diablo Rosso £250.00

Pair of Super Corsa Pro`s £285.00

Crikiey Milleboy £285 fitted that's the most expensive pair of tyres i've ever seen. Supercorsa pro are race/track tyres, they need some serious temperature to get them to grip and would not be ideal in the wet. Utimate grip is fine for the track at race speeds but the compounds used need heat to achieve this level of grip. On the road unless you're a riding god, then i doubt you'd get anywhere near the temperature needed.

For the road, if you're going for Pirelli's then i'd suggest going for the Diablo Corsa III. They probably have 95% of the ultimate grip of the Supercorsa Pro's but their working temperature range is lower and hence offer more grip for all road riding conditions

£181.50 delivered plus around £20 fitted and balanced to loose wheels at a local tyre fitter

cheers legs thats cleared a few things up and good find mate great price,

I forgot to mention apparantly Pirelli are doing a special offer at the min, if you but a pair of corsa 3`s you can claim ever £25 cash back, Moto GP tickets for donnington Park, or the new SBK bike game for the XBOX or PS2 (dont do it for the PS3 fookers) so really its £215 with the cash back and they got imediate stock,

Might ring them back up and see how much they charge for fitting

Cheers legs

Like Legs said, dont bother with Supercorsa pro's, i've got them on ATM and will be going back to Corsa 3 when these are done :thumbup

Thank god for that, I thought you'd ignored all that good advice above for a minute :eek:mg

Whoop Whoop out with the old and in with the new!!

managed to get the tyres fitted last night instead of saturday which i was well happy about because the old ones went to bits in no time at all

Feel so nervous on these new ones though heard so many horror stories of people crashing when they got new rubber on
