Well thanks to cew I received the biposto setup today and it's installed and ready to go :) now for the questions. I am thinking about changing the clip ons to the top of the tree. That means I will need to lower the front end .75" from where it is now to accommodate the clip ons. Is this a bad idea? I also figured I should back off the rear spring to allow a little more sag to match. Has any one done this? I a 6' 200lbs and my concern with the rear is will it be to soft? Thanks for the help guys. Next is the pipe and pcIII next week :)

Oh yeah and for now I removed the stickers and painted the upper all black. Looks better now since the cracks aren't as obvious. I am considering going through tash and getting a complete set of carbon fiber body work or jester68's evo kit. Any opinions?

By lowering the yokes you'll change the geometry of the bike. The effects of lowing the yokes include faster turn in and more instability in straightline speed, racers do it all the time to get that faster turn in on tighter tracks (so they're happy to sacrifice a little bit of stability) - how this translates into the street I can't really comment, maybe softening up the rear will compensate but its not really the way you should setup suspension. There are lowing link kits for the Mille and that would be the route I'd take.

Both bodywork options would be cool Bud.

Thanks deacs what brand of lowering links do you suggest? And does anyone offer a different style clip on that would get the grips up some? It's not a must but it seems like it would be more comfortable in low speed cruising for setting up straighter. Now doing it I can barely use the tips of three fingers on my right hand to maintain throttle.

I'm pretty sure the AF1 shop has the lowering links in stock, Gilles make the Variobars for the Aprilia - the're adjustable bars that set the bars in the position you're looking for but attach the same as your clipons do now.

The variobars look like a good way to go but the 420 price tag is going to put them down the list for now. Maybe in a few months.
