Bimota lover here :inlove Dave, the closer you get to them, the more you appreciate the small details and engineering finesse and style. As for the engines, unless Bimota have changed somewhat under their new ownership, they always managed to make the engines feel like their own somehow. I'm guessing the Veleno pic is a pre-production design mock up.
I agree entirely though, the prices are always far to high, bastids!
