Our bike show has turned into a big indoor market where everyone tries to off load their unwanted old stock. It gets worse every year and over the last few years a few manufacturers have dropped out. Sad but true, will this go the same way as the car show and move location. Milan is more focused on new products and not just to hire the place out to traders.

As was said on a previous thread it's something to do with the parent company Gilera as to why there will be no Aprilia stand but I have been told by an Aprilia employee that there is some intention to be back attending all the shows as from next year,but that was only an internal whisper,So we will wait and see as to what happens next year.....................................

They should look at how many fans they have of the product and do something to let us aprilia boys and girls in the uk proud and to lead us to continue bying from them . Not showing at the NEC is out of order considering how many follow the APRILIA flag

Mr Sharky is right but there is also the hidden exclusivity issue....no-one knows about Aprilias... (' Aprilia? who makes them then?' is the sort of comment I get) It's like the greatest unsigned band, the funniest comedian not on the telly, the best trainers not available in JJB or a lot of TK Maxx' stock.....cheap/good quality/available only to the select few ( ok maybe not stock at TK Maxx).....Once Aprilia's become part of the collective conscious, the price will rise and they'll be as ordinary as an R1!!!!!!!...plus you'll crave the newest version with the slightly different colour tyre valve or more rounded wheel!!!
