Alight folks,

My bike is now handling much much better.
Work I done:

Service forks and changed oil
Changed Steering head bearings
New front break pads (brembo sintered race compound) (Expensive)
Changed brake and clutch fluid for dot 5.1R
New 15t front sprocket
Fitted stomp pads
Full service.

Just renewed my insurance today as well. Not as bad as i was expexting (i wrote off my zx6r last year lost all my NCB)

Just need this weather to get better now:rant

did you change the fork oil your self?
the haynes manual shows that you need a special tool to access the fork internals

Did you buy one?

Thanks Drew

Changed the oil myself.

I made a tool from a bit of sheet steel and cut a 12mm slot into it to form a U shape. Worked a treat. It is a two man job though. 1 to compress the spring and 1 to use the tool.
