Bought a set of bike it brake and clutch levers in black off ebay, fitted the weekend looked great compared to silver corroded originals.
Used bike for work today and front brakes kept sticking on, luckily had adjustable under seat so cracked off banjo to release fluid pressure to get me going again. Got home and guess what chucked old one's in the bin!!! (which got emptied monday)
Now not able to ride bike untill i get a new set of good quality named levers when i can afford it and miss all this lovely weather!!!:angry

chap - firstly ................... why throw the oem's away?!? could have used them as spares if you broke one fitted currently!! anyways ........... (yep I'm a hoarder :D ) ............. the plunger that goes into the mastercylinder is adjustable so turn it in a little and that should fix your problem :thumbup

Check that the plunger pin is seated correctly. I had the same problem so stripped lever off, reseated pin and its been no problem since.

only the pin on clutch lever is adjustable and i've had them off 3 times, still no different.

It's a fairly simple fix. You just need to make sure there is sufficient play between the plunger rod on the lever and the plunger socket on the master cylinder. It just needs screwing in a turn or so.
The reason yours locked up is down to insufficient clearance, the brakes then bind/drag generating heat. This causes the fluid to expand, causing the lockup.
