I replaced the side stand switch a few months ago as the old one was literally dropping to bits and the bike kept cutting out everything has been okay since I replaced the switch until today I started my bike up after a few months lay off. Started first time just let it tick over til warmed up everything was running great until I put it in gear (1st) the bike stopped the lights and clocks all went out it was as if the battery was disconnected the funny thing was the neutral light was still on, any ideas? Also the side stand now acts like a power switch stand down no power (lights off no display etc) but when stand raised everything comes back on, whats going on?
