hi guys just like to say big thanks to all who replied to (rolling front end) especially to buffalo and spoonz, removed steering damper went for spin sorted, good question for a new thread do i really need a steering damper:dunno

You've no need for a steering damper, not the way I've seen you ride :nana

I have not got one on my bike but some times i **** my self when it starts to shake so may be you do need it as back up i need to get one

Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it!! :devious

May save you one day and I kind of like the way it absorbs/dampens the really nasty vibes from the 3 million potholes in the Kent roads. (Kent County Council) :jack

:dougcheers mate yi probably right just glad found the problem

:dunnowould like it repaired as its an ohlins + its part of the bike, not sure where maybe send it away

:thumbupyeh good point came from the factory with one fitted needs to go back on

you should be able to send it to anybody who rebuilds shocks...k-tech amongst others..theres some firm on ebay advertising shock rebuilds for around 80-90 quid...sure they can do them

cheers redratbike gonna ride the bike this wknd see what its like funny because its an ohlins yi think nothing can go wrong, guess it is 8 years old tho
