recently i installed a 2-2 exhaust on a 2000 rsv,i had to make some welding on the bike.and installed a new eprom too. before welding i removed the ecu out and disconected the battery. now when i turn the ignition on, the electronic noise doenst work anymore,and after push the button appears efi blinking. on the diagnostic mode appears -1. hope someone can help me.

could try it, bypass it with a scroggy, but sounds to me like fuel pump not priming. you tried your kill switch and tip over switch to make sure they are ok? ?

take off riders seat,behind the battery..round thing with heavy cable going to it both sides,short out across the terminals to see if the motor spins over...

finally worked... it was the eprom in the wrong position,and anyway in the right position doesnt work,then i changed for the original one,and started very well as usually. anyone knows if the eprom triton is a good one or bad?

Just stick it in the bin and send a PM to DrRossi, his EPROMS are superb and very reasonably priced.
you didnt remove the sister bourd under the standard chip,remove that aswell as the standard chip,install aftermarket chip & ha presto,made me look stupid because mine wouldnt start,fuel pump wouldnt prime
