ok has any one had a big bore kit done to there bike ? how much did it cost ? were did you get it ? and whats the bike like to ride now ?
 
Yes we have done quiet a few of these, I prefer the 1103cc kit. We do a ride in ride out service for £1600, this also includes set up on the dyno. How much power you get really depends on the bike, it can vary a lot but on average you will gain around 20bhp top end and about 25bhp midrange. The big bore wont change the way the bike rides day to day, but will put one hell of a smile on your face when you twist the grip. If you want to talk give me a call at the shop on 01325778358.

Yep Gen 1 as well mate, as above they all vary but on average I would say 15bhp top and 15-20 midrange.

how much as a diy kit?

did you get round to weighing the carbon rsv by the way?
 
I took it to our local weigh bridge the day before it was collected, but there machine was out of service. The customer is going to get it done in the next week, I am realy looking forward to seeing the result's.
 
be interesting to see what it weighed in at. am gutted as i missed out on a pair of carbon wheels today on fleabay, was being a cheapskate and kept my bid low:banghead
 
I looked at them but got told I would have no knackers left if I bid on them :bawling, how much did they go for?
 
they went for £1171, i was being tight and only went £1151. was tempted to make him an offer on them early on this morning when he sent me pics.

I miss looking at it now, I will have to build another to replace it. I am thinking about carbon race fairings for mine.

I thought you were coming round for some plugs?
