While at Brno Ducati has won, and more than anyone, with the engines stopped at the moment, rumours continue as to who will be the successor to Troy Bayliss. The 39-year-old Australian is nearing retirement from racing, and still has no real heir to the position.

With fifth place for the season, confirmation of Michel Fabrizio seems ever closer (although somewhat given), but who will be at his side? At the moment it looks like a three man race between Byrne, Biaggi and Vermeulen, even if Davide Tardozzi will try at all costs to bring young Niccolò Canepa into Superbike racing.

But to mix it all up Aprilia could be entering the fray. According to RacerGP.com Max has been seen having a long chat with Giampero Sacchi and the engineer, Gigi dall’Igna. Is this just an old meeting between friends or is the old flame returning?

The renewal (although yearly) of Troy Corser in Yamaha should see the company place on the grid the same riders in 2009, for the third year in a row. Cech rider Jakub Smrz has also been proving himself as a fast rider, and so who knows… maybe the coming months could produce the big news of summer?

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrggghhhhhhhhh ANYBODY but that tw@t !!! :banghead :banghead

It's bad enough Ruben Xaus is going to BMW :bawling

Bugga...Just when Aprilia needs a developmental rider & not just a mental rider to get them on the Superbike merrygo round.

Beatifully put Pumpkin, i couldn't agree more.

You've been away i guess, you've not posted on here for a while :dunno. what have you been up to? How's the track days going?

Biaggi needs everything to be perfect, then he's super fast even if he is a twit....
but when things aren't right, he can't ride around them...
tell you who'd be a stab in the dark as a second rider - james ellison

for first rider - no better developer than troy corsair

If this is true, Aprilia will need to sort out a whole seperate support truck for Biaggi's EGO.......Oh Dear!

Now how the bloody hell am I supposed to support the team with a rider like that ******:jack???????? Please not him!!!!!:exclamation

I'd just glad that Mr gravel trap Ruben Xaus is off to BMW. Maybe they'll just field a GS with a fairing because he'll be motoring through the gravel half the races.

At least with Biaggi there's more than a 50% change the bike will make it to the finish line in 1 piece :biggrin

Yes, Troy Corser would be the man for the job of development..maybe ol Max can just do public relations....or sell new scooters & let Troy do the riding.

Hya Legs :)

Yes, I have been véry busy last months.. first had exams, then moved to another city, then started working for an international company, Sarens. Cool job, lots of multitasking and challenges to deal with :laugh But long hours too.
Besides I'm staying at my bf's house now and he has no internet, so not much opportunity to check out the site at the moment :(

As for trackdays, I've got a couple planned :devious

I'm doing one this Sunday at Folembray.
Not the most exciting track in the world, but I really want to learn more before I'm coming to the UK in September :devious
My bf and I will be doing two UK trackdays: Silverstone and Cadwell Park :doug I'm terribly excited !!!

I hope you and everyone are fine around here !

Take care :cheers
