Best way to bleed rear brake?

Just had my rear caliper off my 99 Mille to re-paint, having real bother trying to bleed it up properly, i started with an eezi-bleed and then tried an air fed fluid extractor and pulled the fluid through but still got full travel on the rear brake, im currently trying to gravity bleed it and thought i'd leave it overnight, cap off reservoir and brake depressed, is this the correct way? the brake was really good previous to taking it off and fronts were difficult but are now spot on. Any tips/ideas would be appreciated:dunno

Haha if you have any success with this then please
let me into the secret as mine is exactly the same after removing the back wheel. It was alright but now its ****!

Sorted! took caliper off, pushed back pistons and wedged them wide open, holding the caliper in my hand with the bleed screw to the top, slackened off bleed screw with tube on it, pumped brake quickly keeping reservoir topped up, quite a bit of air coming through at this point, soon as fluid ran through clear nipped up bleed screw and then reverted to slackening screw then hold brake down and tighten screw 2 or 3 times and hey presto, pumped the brake and its mint!
