I have a YTX 14 BS That's the same battery as recommended by Griff, but made by Yuasa. (Griff uses Varta)
Just got it today, it's on charge as we speak, a little taller than the original,
so it needs a spacer of some description on the clamp.
Daz, like ash says I think they're a little taller than std. A new battery for me is on a list of things to be done when it goes to AP for a service after payday,:beerchug
Just ordered one from my supplier £26.83 (numax) same as yuasa in every way. I sell yuasa batteries and it has been explained to me that the numax brand is exactly the same.. I'm happy with that, includes same day delivery to me...:yes
My original yuasa lasted 8 months & for 3 months before that it was playing up.The Rob Hunter thats on at the moment is working fine , the cold cranking amps is what you need the bigger the better. There is not a lot of difference in manufacture in my opinion between any of the big brands be it yuasa , varta , exide or enersys.
