I put this ones in just recenty. They are race pads, so should start to work under high temps, but so far, they grip waaaaaaaayyyyy better than carbon lorraine sbk5, that I had before and they are not even bed in yet and on the street. So far super happy with them, will report how they preform on track on monday.

Hello does anyone know what would be the best pads for racing?:dunno

I just did a trackday at Oulton Park and found the pads fitted (no idea what they are) started fading on the third session 'cos the calipers were too hot to touch. (other bikes were not as hot). no fun with the lever coming back to the 'bars :0(

Once cool after lunch they were fine.

will better/racing pads and/or DOT 5 fluid help this ?

miff

This does not happen with the Performance Friction pads! Before we used them we were having to take the pads out and take the glaze off them after every race and we were also having to change the brake fluid all the time. These pads are amazing, they work from new right to the end of there life without taking them out or changing the fluid.
When I supplied them to Peter he was skeptical, but after using them he couldn't stop saying thank you...... We will not use anything else now, they are that good! (maybe they should employ me Ha Ha:biggrin)
PS, When you buy them don't forget to tell them that Team Aprilia Racing in New Zealand recommended them! They may give us a discount if they know this.:thumbup
