Mines gotta be my zxr250, only bike i have kept since i imported back in the early 90's.

Only 1 breakdown in all that time, cause by reg/rectifier wiring burning out!!!!!!

Does nearly 50mpg on a average run, dirt cheap on chains and brakes etc.

Probably spent 1000's over the years on her, but she'e been worth it.

Had loads of bikes come and go during the time, but this one i intend to keep til either me or her die first.

Only pic i have to hand.

And she screams past 22,000rpm as she's totally de-restricted

Mine has to be my Mille, it's everything I want in a bike.
Other than that it was probably my thundercat, it was great fun

Obviously for me, my Yellow Mille.:thumbup

This is the best bike i've ever owned. Pure brute force and ignorance wrapped in the beauty of engineering and design genius......coupled with being a complete and utter ***** of an Italian hotchpotch with the sensitivities of a sledgehammer whenever the rain got into the electrics :inlove

Apart from the Mille ( had RSVR and although it came to an unpleasant end it was very different to Mille- even though essentially the same engine!) got to be my old RD250 E...not the sportier LC but my God at the time I thought it was class, that wonderful crackling sound and smell of 2 stroke!...Shame about the single front disc with wooden brake pads!!

The best bike is definitely my RSV Mille, my second best would be a tie between my '82 z650 and 1200 Bandit both were brilliant bikes. Wish I still had my old z (aswell as my Mille of course).

This is quite a difficult one its easy to say that my current bike is the best ive ever owned however that dosnt stop me think about bikes ive owned in the past.

For great build quilty , quality engine pint size little sports bike i think this is the best bike ive ever owned , if i could get one for a realistic price now id snap someones arm off for one.

Quality

Laters Dan :)

got to admit for just being a Damn good bike in its own right it has to be the 955i Tiger i had.

Most fun? TL1000S

my old Z1000J lawson rep is the only bike i wished i had not of sold, had great times on that beast and it was utterly reliable

My current 02 R is the best bike i've owned, though i've still got great memories of my old red white black 1999 Yamaha R1

Has to be an RC30 I was fortunate enough to own. Couldn't ride for **** but not much could stay with you on the A roads. People were odd with you though ... always thought you were loaded but I just saved hard for it. Reliable as hell .. a totally unique sound and the dogs wobblies to ride. Very memorable trips to Bol d'or and Le Mans with freinds on EXUP's etc ... but it was always the RC30 that got the pulse going. For some strange reason I thought it would be a good idea to sell it and build my own one but with a VMax US spec engine in it!!! Now that was expensive! Especially as i don't know one end of a spanner from another!

My Yamaha R1 ..... Z .... a little 250 twin 2-stroke. Absolute manic fun and sounded like a scooter which as you can imagine was a real shock for people when you were doing 90 next to them on the motorway :nana.

And yes, I did tell people I owned an R1, not my fault if they assumed wrongly YZF-R1 :devious
