:confused Hi just poped out on my 02 mille for 30 minutes,
as soon as i set off i fort my clutch was heavy (more than normal) it was biteing early but i didnt really take much notice,
however i was on it for about 20 mins when i noticed smoke in my miror. i was a mile from home so i turned around and headed home.
it was thick white smoke out off both pipes,,, please help

Check the bladder for the slipper clutch which is just behind the clutch cover. If it splits it smokes like hell as oil gets suck up into the throttle bodies.

ok mate i will do. this would explain my clutch feelin differant as well as the smoke, does this sound like it is all it can be. im worried it could be a big problem like head gasket etc

To be producing that much smoke/steam were it the head gasket you would notice a drop in water level and possibly a change in running temp.

Head Gasket failures are pretty rare. The slipper bladder would fit the symptoms and reasonably easy to check.

if you cant get hold of the diagphram quickly repair the split with a puncture repair kit holds out for a couple of weeks
