Badger

Found some old pics of bikes i owned and scanned them,my first Honda 750 F2

the white VFR when it came out caused a bit of a stir

vfr.jpg

this is one of my fave old bikes, a 1991 EXUP painted by Bike Paints in Tech21 colours, it was mint, till i wrote it off with a kak handed wheelie that went pear shaped

exup.jpg

Replaced it with another EXUP in standard colours

exup2.jpg

chucked this one up the road and wrote it off as well :pirate

Bought this ZXR as i needed a bike quick to do a trip i had organised, did not keep it long

zxr.jpg

traded it in for one of these

blade.jpg

bought a yellow Blade after this one, but never took any pics of it, owned various other bikes in between including a few Enduro and full moto crossers, probably explains why my knees are feckin painfull all the time yes.gif

After the yellow Blade came a diet of Aprilias which has lasted for 10 years now, i luv looking back on old pics.

Oh, and not to forget the first Mille

Well, that's my nostalgia for the night:thumbup

Your factory trackbike looks awesome Badger :inlove i'd have the road bike with those colours :thumbup

I had a VFR750 FK in HRC colours :thumbup

Sooper stuff...My Brother-in-law has a pretty much mint 1976 750/4 sitting in his garage (which he hasn't ridden in years) along with the RSVR (he hasn't ridden in a long time ) and the Speed Triple he bought in November, which probably won't get ridden much either!...Jammy bugger!

Why thank you kind sir:biggrin

I had a VF750 prior to the VFR, you know the one with chocolate cams:roll
i remember watching Ron Haslam put the VFR in pretty much standard trim on the podium at the Transatlantic races in 1986, run rings round the factory bikes, i had one on order then (before they were in the showrooms), imagine how excited i was when i saw Rocket doing that, could not wait to get my hands on it:doug

NB, get round and ride some of them bikes mate:devious

gees badger awsome collection matey just to let u guys know some of those bikes are older than me hahahaha (with all due respect)

great pictures mate i like the standard coloured exup, wish i'd had that many bikes...

Cheers guys, there were some others along the way i never got pics of, RD350LC x 2 off, VF750, a 97 model yellow blade and many many more enduro and motox'ers.

Been 10 years on Aprilias now, i must like em eh:biggrin

Sounds like yer goin to town on it Tash, keep us posted on progress and what she produces at the wheel etc.

Who is fitting the kit for you then?

Top thread Badger, takes me back a bit.

Had loads of bikes myself, all Jap stuff until I saw the light, and bought the Aprilia. :roll

Unfortunately, I have no pics of ANY of mine, as I left them at the house when I split with my ex-wife 7 years ago. Needless to say, they were nowhere to be found when I went back to collect all my stuff; said she "couldn`t find them" ! :devious
