I was just fixing to go to a ranch off Church to ride a horse after an invitation and my Clutch lever has Jammed on me. I made it home with only rigght turns and avoided all the stop signs and the cops. lol :pirate now what? I'm taking a break now. :dunno before I bleeding my clutch fluid can someone tell me why it's Jammed? I loosened the Master Cylinder and it tries to push the rod however it's to heavy/jammed. The bike is on gear all the time and it stalls on stops unless you take off like a maniac. No clutch at all!! I recently fitted a Barnett clutch kit last week and I have been babying it since about 400 miles. Can someone give me an advice before I start tearing **** apart with my ghetto tools. lol I hope the allen end of my Clutch shaft is not broken cuz it was slightly cracked. :puke

Are you saying that the lever is rock solid when the slave cylinder is fitted to the bike?

If yes, can you remove the slave and see if the jammed lever is due to the slave cylinder jamming or if it is being caused by the clutch assembly. Once removed if you can operate the lever then the problem must be with the clutch assembly. Be careful not to pop the slave piston out of the bore whilst testing it.

You mention a cracked bit!! What bit is that, can you take a piccie and add to the post so we can see if it the cause of this issue?

HTH

:biggrin

1) the slave cylinder works flawless
2) the right end of the aluminum shaft ( where it goes to the clutch flywheel) is cracked around the edges which still works though when you put the bolt on it. It was like that before before I put the new clutch in. Have to work with ghetto tools and parts here. lol
3) the left of the shaft is drilled in the master cylinder when one of the clutch tension bolt popped out which ripped the rubber gasket and dented the aluminum cap. and It also made aluminum dust and spring looking shavings on the master cylinder end.
4) When I apply the clutch it pushes the hub a little bit and not enough like it used to when I first put the clutch in.

I have some pictures and I will upload them after I come back

here's the cracked thing I wonder if I could replace the steel bolt and mount on the aluminum rod which comes apart somehow there's a hole on it for a pin...
