Hi, I am new to this forum caper so if I screw up that is my excuse. I work abroad for 2 months and get home for 1 month, as a result I have vast amounts of time to dream about my 07 T sitting in my garage. Came across the Bazzaz FiTC control unit (www.bazzaz.co.uk) the other day and am now frothing at the mouth to try it. It gives you engine mapping (an additional box will give you 'self mapping) quick shifter and traction control all in one unit, for the price it seems a bargain, and you can program it yourself by plugging it into your compy!
Done a fair bit of reading on it and the results seem good but it is mostly fitted to Blades, Gixers, ZX10s etc in the articles. To be fair I am mostly interested in the traction control as my throttle hand is either OFF! or ON! and on the T that is a cause for lots of buttock clenching moments
.
Question is, has anybody fitted this unit to a T, or any other bike and if so what results did you have with it?

I,m going to fit it when I get home the end of March and will post the details of my fumbling if all goes well (they say it is plug n play) it should prove a handy bit of kit for track days and normal riding. 7 weeks and counting! brrrap:thumbup

We have sold and fitted a few of these to different bikes, but all with good results. Definitely worth getting, let me know what price you have been quoted and I will see what I can do for you.

Cheers Mark

You don't need these aids on a T mate, unless you are using it in the snow/ice.
Or you are a soft ****, then you shouldn't be riding a T.:crazy

have you been outside recently ?

of course its needed ....... who cares if it makes lil sense...

sherry i thought that was for old feckers or i should say for people to old to get a leg over the T

I'm far from being a soft **** GF, but then again I'm not a thick prick either! There are reasons they fit this stuff as standard nowadays and these are to save the ***** of those who over estimate their riding skills, and also to help those who recognize their limits (that would be me) improve their riding skills as safely as possible. At Brands Hatch I stuck my much loved and immaculate ZX9R in the gravel, killed it and badly hurt my old bones, all for a lack of a little traction, lesson learnt! Best thing to come out of it was I decided to buy a T:thumbup
So two ways to go, buy a bike fitted with TC maybe 9 - 10 grand or fit it too the bike I already have for a grand, no brainer.

Also I would like to say thanks for the welcome to this forum, as a T owner I appreciate your concise and insightful input!!!!!

The only problem with throwing a grand at this is that you will never see a return for it when you move on.
You would be better buying a bike with all these rider aids if you feel you really need them.
Better spent upgrading suspension and learning the limits of the bike slowly, which is why trackdays have timed sessions
Alternatively buy a track only bike with the grand.

Glad you appreciate the humour here Pete.
I think there's a place for rider aids when racing, some racers poo poo them tho, but hey ho bud, good luck with which ever way you swing.
Let us know how you get on cos we, well I, am a nosey git.

I understand that I will lose abit if I ever sell my T, but as I have not had it long and am already in luuurv I cant see me selling it in the near future. I wouldn't spend money on a new bike, even with this additional spend the bike will only have cost me £4500, I got the T at a low price! Learn slowly is good advice but I get abit carried away too often. Thanks for the advice but I think I am going fit this kit and see what improvements it gives me, if any. I have got another 6 weeks in Baghdad before I am home to play and as I said I will let you know all the grizzly details as I go. :dunno
