Battery charger testing

Just found this and found it intriguing that the Optimate charger was not really rated for trickle charging.

Any comments?

Document was taking too long to download so I ran out of patience! I've read somewhere that the Optimate style charges are quite fast chargers when initially turned on. To my mind if they didn't trickle charge Optimate wouldn't be able to claim they do in their advertising.

Not really sure what you call an Optimate...however this is the unit that i use on my battery!

Optimate are another model of what you've got, I 'think' they were the first model in the market :thumbup
