Straight swap mate.....might have to alter ya fixing bracket a bit

Yam solenoid is a straight swap to

WESTCO batteries i found to be the best...better than the Yuasa i had.....Westco are used in harley lumps and it turns my bike other loads better than the Yuasa did

the common mod is a ytx14bs it is a 12 A battery and is miles better than the ytx12bs 10A battery that they come with as std.

I was recomended the ytz14bs by badger as it has a mega cca but is only 11A.
It works miles better than either of the others so much so, with the wiring mod and the yammy solienoid I don't even use an optimate now!

Fat Boy,

I have an 03 RSV and put in the YTX14 battery yesterday, it fits no problem (is a little higher than the YTX12) and I just used a longer bolt to fix the battery bracket.

I brought the battery from MDS for £45, and charged it up overnight with optimate before fitting.

So far the battery has been excellent - starts every time, no more converting KPH -> MPH whilst riding because of reset!

Cheers
