Hi, when riding on a straight road the barrs are not straight if i look down the top yoke is a little turned to the right, I know last year it was straight and I have not had any off's !! but i have had back wheel off and top yoke off for repaint, the top yoke looks seated ok is it posible I have some how misaligned the forks if so how to remedy ?

it may be worth checking from lock to lock
ie ... the distance between bar ends /tank and then bar ends /fairing you may find its different from on side to other . just a thought :devious

The bars on the mille are at a set angle so its impossible to get them twisted.
Have a look at the bars they are clamped onto the forks with a pinch bolt and the angle is set by another 8mm bolt the goes through the bars into the top yoke, make sure them bolts are fitted.

sorry the title is a little misleading as i look down the top yoke is turned to the right on a straight road, i have had the top yoke off, maybe some how i have twisted the forks slightly on reassembly ?

Sorry mate I just dont think its possible, I think its all in your head sorry dude.

When u sit on your bike in the garage does it look straight then?

I've been reading thru the bike forums, and apparently you can misalign the forks when assembling yokes, it was a bit of a struggle to get top yoke back on! so I will have another go at the weekend :) any advice on reassembly appreciated :)

I twisted mine after bouncing off a black cab. I slackened off the yokes and eyed it straight. It may not be perfect tho, as I have to go anti-clockwise at roundabouts...
