A couple of years back I was invited to join a group of "middle aged" ..."sensible" & I use that term loosley, For a ten day run to Barcelona and back. I had my trusty TLR Suzuki at the time, but the leader/navigator had a , then new Aprilia RSV100R. What an adventure, The old TL did well as the grunt of the motor was near that of the Aprilia but the weight & the handling let the TL down. Even so the two V twins came in to there own when we were in the mountains, the fours were changing up & down the box where as big Dereck & I would just feed the throttle in and let the back end dig in. When I was looking for my next bike that trip & the performance of the Aprilia made me buy the RSV100R. Up to now I am not dissapointed.

I would recomend the trip to anyone 3500 milles round trip, and if I go again I can change to KM at the press of a button....how good is that ???
