Just got back from a week tour around France and Spain. The old RSVR never missed a beat. 2500 miles and £280 in fuel later, these bikes are ace. My dad's brand new BMW broke down, took 6 hours to fix at the BMW dealer at Le Mans. Met a group of lads on the Euro Tunnel off to the Pyreness one on a BMW GS, guess what, three days later i passed him on the N20 (awesome road over the Pyreness) broken down by the side of the road. He was taking the piss on the train, Aprilias break down don't they? - Not.
Don't think i'll tour on a sportsbike again, gonna swop the '06 factory for a KTM Adventure and plan a two week trip down to Mugello and Barcelona next year. Just need a set of tyres and the bike will be back to normal. Roll on next year:pirate

Not the best bike to tour on, but on some roads you wouldnt want to be on anything else, That clutch does get awful heavy with days of riding though, does anyone know if fitting a clutch slave cylinder helps?

I too got back from the Barcelona Gp last Tuesday night. 2100 miles and my mille never missed a beat. Took the route via Clemont Ferrand and the Milau bridge and then down to Beziers and Perpignon. A great week away :thumbup

I went to Milau, thought the bridge was gonna be more impressive, after watching the documentery on the Discovery channel about it.
Stayed in Perpignan for two days. Fancy Mugello next year then onto Barcelona, two week tour:thumbup

i went on a plane, mind you 2 up with all the gear would have been too much on the mille,

think i was 1 on only 6 people i see with blue toseland tops on, the wheeli bike was cool to watch too.
