Well I've been thinking that my bike is a bit lower than some others and it crossed my mind that shotgun had moved his bars more forward due to having a numb finger so though if I do this it would raise them a bit as well plus I've heard a few others mention it as well.

Home from work allen keys out and undone the front allen screws then onto the back. Blow me I could have twisted both the back ones with my finger they were kinda that loose. Not enough to make turning them an efford with the allen key anyway.

Bars now raised a little bit making for a slightly more upright position but I'm glad I checked them now. :thumbup

bay.
the top is a clamp, you will have a gap underneath both sides, once you release one side all the pressure is gone from the other.

when you re-tighten, make sure gaps are roughly equal.

simples :thumbup

Ahhhhh there we are then. I only undone them slightly so should be ok but I'll check the gaps tomorrow.
See I'm not technical when it comes to things like this at all. I can sort of ride a bike but whats happening with it I aint got a clue.

Bay min, why dont you PM old Shovelhead and get him tae send you a set of Ape hangers if you want a mair upright feel

Well by moving them upwards and more forward it gives a more upright positiuon plus more weight over the front anyway so jobs a good un I reckon.
PS Garry + = 5 Microns. Thats a bit amateurish aint it. Mine will be spot on exactly the same ;)

He's experimenting as last weekend with my Tuoldo & his side by side didn't look same!

Have a look:

Look at the bars & the reservoir angle. Mine have been turned forward a bit.

Fair enough. Proof is in the ride :thumbup ..... Or is it the pudding?
