Cant remember who was interested in the bar end mirrors or even whether it was this forum but the one I just bought was made by www.Oberon-Performance.co.uk quality bit of kit. never got around to taking a photo as promised because me camera battery was flat & I then giot distracted, will have another go tomorrow.
had a quick look at theor web site they do all sorts of anodised CNC stuff that may be of interest.

I think the bar end mirrors look cool, and will give better vision to the rear, only down side is when filtering as it widens the bike a bit.

Just got around to taking a couple of photos. With these oberon ones you can configure the set up with the mirror mounted on the top of the bar end also by simply switching the position of the retaining grub screw. Rear view is excellent, just need to glance to have full picture what's happening behind.

how wide does that make the bike, how interesting is filtering between traffic now

Well I live in the country so very rarely encounter filtering situations, but if you notice in the 2nd photo I've reconfigured the set up so the mirror extends from the top of the bar end not the end. so does not actually extend much wider than the actula bar end itself.

Thanks Tricky much apprieciated, i think it gives the bike sleeker lines. I once saw the same thing on a Ducati streetfighter at a fuel stop and had reservations on wether i liked it or not. GF asked one of my questions, the other is does it get it the way when moving your hand around say from a set of lights and general manoeuvring. What happened to the install on the left hand one? Sounds like a good Xmas present

I only bought one at the show, as a trial I suppose & to spend £100 on mirrors goes against my West Walian mentality. Generally I'd probably only need one except 1.) I usually go out on my own however on the occasion when I'm in a group I do like to know where my wing man is drifting from side to side . 2.) I shall hopefully be going inter continental next year when a left hand mounted one will be beneficiall. 3.) So far hasn't interfered with general riding style, I had one of these on my Tuoldo & loved it just ****** up when I sold it & never removed the necessary comonents to transfer to my new bike.

If you are happy with the way it looks, Aldo may disagree that it's ugly, then I'd reccomennd trying them out. I've got some cheappies coming, one for the RHS. I'll advise on the comparison of quality.

TM as a said on the TW it doesn't matter a **** whit a think it's yer machine and if yer like them then yer sorted. A don't dislike them a jist think they do nowt fir overall look fae the front.

Ahhm only teasing A. It's like asking whether you prefer Susan Boyle to Esmerelda all mirrors look cack & do not a lot for yer bikes lovely sleek lines.

I saw these at the NEC and wish now that I'd bought some
