COUNTY DURHAM
Planning a day out for the Saturday 2nd or Monday 4th if any one is interested for the full run or meeting on route let me know: :yes
start at Durham - middleton in teesdale - kirkby stephen - hawes - leyburn - bedale - northallerton - stokesley - finish Wynyard
approx 160 miles with a good mix of twisty B roads and excellent A roads :thumbup
 
I don't get back till staurday mate, so if its monday I should be up for it.

thats fine by me as i will just go for a shortish run on Saturday.
weather permitting meet at Nevilles Cross Durham (North East Suzuki) 10:00hrs, anybody else wanting to meet elsewhere let me know.
Olaf are you available or circumnavigating the globe on this day?
Any North West / Yorkshire / Cumbria people interested in meeting up at Kirkby Stephen or Hawes for a chin wag, the more the merrier

Grin if you are heading that way try the road over to Stanhope from Consett its a gem if you have not done it :yes

for the Saturday mate how about Stanhope or Barnard for a coffee and a bite to eat?
Topped up my brownie points last week mate when i bought her a new sewing machine, just happened to get her one that can stitch leathers as well :thumbup
what are you up to this Saturday ? heading to whitby for fish and chips, if you are available i can meet at the Fir Tree for 10;30 as i have to be back for 4 latest to pick up the grandson. :yes
 
Sat 2nd sounds good to me.

This saturday to Whitby, 10:30 is good, we will be back well in time for 4 pm.

good warm up today for the bank holiday, absolute scorcher up at Flyingdales where we stopped for an ice cream after a drive through Goathland (TVs Heartbeat village Aidensfield) the sheep really love a v twin down shift lol
Cheers for a good run out Olaf the son enjoyed it as well.

Not sure, 4th grand child is due tomorrow (31st), will have to see how it pans out. Are you still out sat for a little ride around ?

My son has just passed his test & bought a 600 bandit & is chomping at the bit to be out though.

I hope I can keep up with him.

I may have to moderate my riding style in case word gets back.

yes mate still up for a run an Saturday, will confirm a meet time later.
Bring the son along as i am sure mine will be tagging along.
dont worry about moderating your riding style mate you just get used to the ear ache
had a bit of fun with an R6 on Sunday from Wheatley Hill to Blackhall and was duly grassed up on return to home lol

Should be there for just after 10 mate, need fuel & have 3 bloody cars to shift to get at the bike.
