Baffling....

Can anyone offer the best solution for getting the baffles out of the Akrapovic titanium cans?
I HAVE removed the allen bolt entirely:biggrin and tried pulling on the centre pipe bit with pliers and also mole grips. I am really pulling the bike and the can, and obviously don't want to pull to hard and damage something. A

Any suggestions?? :dunno

Take the cans off completley and get a wooden broom handle and stick that in the end opposite to the baffles and give it a good push they should come straight out.

or try running the bike and give them a good pull with mole grips while they are hot?

I got mine out piece of piss. Get a long coach bolt (or in my case a threaded rod) spin on a couple of Nuts and then insert down hole

as it drops off the end of the baffle you will feel it. push it in 3 inches or however long you can and then give it a few GENTLE tugs... (O er Missus) it will pop out and you will not damage the can or the lovely exit spout

Sorted! Tried EEza's method, worked a treat. He was quite correct, a couple of hard tugs on my threaded length and out popped the little buggers. Sounds pretty jeffin' good, :thumbup
going to go for a ride now I think..
